The report analyses the first Resolution passed in 2012 and related activities that took place in that Session. It further documents Sri Lankan Government’s actions and inactions on accountability since the last Resolution was passed, as well as UN’s steps and international community’s actions.
It also documents ethnic based human rights violations of Tamils since the last Resolution and a section on whether it is realistic to expect accountability through domestic mechanisms.
The report argues for the crime of genocide and concludes by calling for an International Commission of Inquiry.
