We believe human rights cannot be realized in the absence of effective and accountable institutions. Institution building and reform is neither easy nor particularly newsworthy – it is, however, essential.
We also believe the exercise of the right of self-determination is a reasonable way and means to resolve the conflict in Sri Lanka. The hope and prospect of realizing this right could provide the basis for negotiations and dialogue.
Join us in the promotion of human rights and to support and provide political space for organizations and individuals that work for a non-violent, just political solution to the conflict in Sri Lanka.
