Hindu Jagran Manch and Vishwa Hindu Parishad stage protest
Published Date: 05/10/2017 (Thursday)

Members of Hindu Jagran Manch (HJM) and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) have submitted a memorandum to the President of India through the Deputy Commissioner of Cachar on Tuesday. They have demanded that military assistance should be extended to Government of Myanmar to stop attempted annihilation of Hindus in Rakhain, Myanmar. The Hindus in Rakhain have been living there for over 100 years and never had to face any sort of problem. Never ever there have been any news or incident of even a minimum discomfort for them. Their life and dignity have always been protected.

They have stated in the memorandum that reports of discovery of grave of Hindus have been found. These Hindus have been brutally killed, apparently and by all logic, by the extremist Rohingya Muslim organization in Myanmar. The civil society, bureaucrats, defence personnel and leaders of Myanmar have been always highly protective about their minuscule Hindu citizenry. They have also mentioned that the international media have been pointing their finger to Rohingya Muslim terrorist organization in Rakhain for this heinous crime. The members opined that whenever and wherever Hindus are in distress, the Government of India should have a proactive role in protecting Hindus living outside India.
The members put forth their views regarding this issue and mentioned that immediate extension of military assistance to the Government of Myanmar, as they helped Bangladesh in the year 1971 and Sri Lanka in the 90’s.

Another demand has been put forth by the members of both Hindu Jagran Manch and Vishwa Hindu Parishad. They have demanded that the Rohingya intruders should be pushed from the Indian soil urgently. The Government should take stern steps at the border areas of Myanmar so that Rohingyas are unable to enter India. The members have urged upon an immediate military intervention of India in this matter to protect Myanmar as well as the Hindus there. The memorandum has been signed by Rajib Kumar Nath of  HJM, Purnendu Chandra Mandal of VHP, Samrat Dutta of HJM and others. A copy of the memorandum has been sent to the Prime Minister of India, the Governor of Assam and the Chief Minister of Assam.
